The album, released on January 27, arrived atop the list on Billboard 200 chart with 161,500 equivalent album units sold in the U.S. in the week ending Feb. 2. The album depicts the story of young people facing various types of temptation while they grow. The music video of Sugar Rush Ride, the album's title track featuring funky guitar and unique whistle sounds, has gained more than 9 million views on YouTube as of February 6.
Hybe, the band's agency, has now become the only South Korean entertainment company to have more than two groups that topped Billboard's weekly chart. BTS set a milestone in Korean music history in 2018 with "Love Yourself: Tear." Other K-pop groups that grabbed the top place on Billboard 200 chart are Stray Kids, Black Pink, and SuperM.
